The LP chieftain, during an interview on the DailyTrust Politics programme said the governors are fighting against the policy for their selfish interests.

A spokesperson for the Labour Party (LP), Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo has revealed the real reason some All Progressives Congress governors took the President, Muhammadu Buhari to court over cash swap policy.

In an interview on DailyTrust Politics programme, Okonkwo said the governors are fighting against the policy for their selfish interests.

Referencing Kaduna state, Okonkwo stated that the governor Nasir El-Rufai did not challenge the federal government in court over the high level of insecurity in the state as his people were massacred and killed by bandits and terrorists..
