Alexis Sanchez rejects Arsenal's £180K-a- week deal as contract talks continue

Alexis Sanchez who currently earns £130K weekly is holding out for a vastly improved deal of of £250K a week and has rejected an offer of £180K weekly. The prolific attacker is central to the Gunners' interest and the club is desperate to tie him down to a long term deal. They are however hesitant to meet his huge demands but remain hopeful a deal can be struck. In contrast to Sanchez’s talks, there is a growing confidence at the Emirates that Ozil, 28, will sign a new deal. Yaya Toure handed 18-month driving ban sentence for drunk driving

Manchester City and Ivory Coast player, Yaya Toure has been handed an 18-month driving ban and a £54,000 fine after he was caught driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. Appearing at Barkingside Magistrates' Court, the player did not contest the charge but insisted he wanted to make the judge aware any alcohol consumption was unintentional. The 33-year-old said he was at a party with friends and was drinking Diet Coke from a jug, which he later found out had brandy in it. However a judge said it was 'inconceivable' he did not know he was drinking and banned him from driving for 18 months and fined him £54,000. He was pulled over at 11.15pm after police thought he was exceeding the 30mph speed limit in his £80,000 Audi RS6. True story of the boy who was sealed in a wall in Ondo state

Last week, a boy who was reportedly 12 years old, who was sealed in the wall of a house in Ondo state was rescued. Several reports emerged as to how he ended up inside the wall of the house which looked old and dilapidated, none of which made much sense. However, Channels TV crew visited the sight of the incident to find out what the people in the town really knew about the boy and the weird incident. The boy was identified as Aduragbemi Saka. According to Channels TV, the house where the boy was found is located at 3B Akinfemisoye Street, Oduduwa Area in New Town, Ondo State. The owner of the house reportedly travelled out of the country several years ago, so wasn't at the location of the incident when it happened, but the building was being occupied by students of Adeyemi College of Education.
