Fifa has issued Luis Suarez an nine-match ban and a four-month global suspension for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini. With Uruguay having progressed to the World Cup second round by beating Italy 1-0, their goal coming shortly after the Azzurri star accused the forward of sinking his teeth into his shoulder, football's governing body began deliberations on Wednesday in the hopes of reaching a quick verdict.
