C. Ronaldo Threatens To Leave Real Madrid If He’s Not Paid As High As Messi Real Madrid’s Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly told his bosses at the Santiago Bernabeu to pay him as much as what his arch-rival, Lionel Messi, earns at Barcelona. He threatened to leave if he was not paid as much. According to reports from Europe, the 32-year-old talisman demanded a whopping £17m pay rise that will increase his earnings at the La Liga and UEFA Champions League reigning champions to £35.5m. Reports claimed Ronaldo is frustrated by Real president, Florentino Perez’ refusal to offer him an improved contract after he was promised one when he helped Real to a La Liga and Champions League double last season. Ronaldo signed a five-year deal in November 2016 that will see him stay at the club till 2021. He has also been linked with a return to Manchester United.

Now that I have gotten all the money needed for my medical bill, I want to officially put a stop to all forms of appeal or request in bid to save OJB. I want Nigerians to know that I have gotten the N16million needed for my treatment. Therefore, no donation should again be made to any source in respect of the said case. Sir Alex Ferguson announces his retirement

Manchester United manager,Sir Alex Ferguson, has announced his decision to retire at the end of the season. The 71 year old who became Man U manager in 1986, will bow out after Man U meets West Bromwich Albion on May 19th and will join the football club board as director & ambassador. Sir Alex is the most successful manager in English football history. He won 38 tropphies, including two Champions League and 13 Premier League. Sir Alex Ferguson told United’s website: “The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time. It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so.
