Naira Scarcity: Traders Reject Bank Transfer Petty traders in Kwara have said they do not accept bank transfers or transactions due to lack of bank accounts and network failures. Some of the traders told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Monday that they had no bank accounts to which money can be transferred. Keji Abdulmalik, a roadside pepper seller said she had no bank account for any transaction. “I do not accept bank transfers because I do not have a bank account. “It has been difficult for my customers to buy things because they do not have cash. “Some of them come and ask if I take transfer, but I simply tell them no.”  Local grilled meat seller, commonly known as ‘Mai Suya’, Malam Aminu Maigashi, also said that he had no bank account to which transfers could be made. Tinubu Donates N100 Million To The Victims Of Banditry In Katsina Stat The Presidential Candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has announced a donation of N100 million to the victims of banditry in Katsina State. He has also condoled the state for the loss of gallant vigilantes at Yargoje Forest in Kankara local government. Fidelity Bank MD And Secretary Sentenced To Six Weeks in Prison Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank has been sentenced to six weeks in prison. A chief magistrate’s court in Ogba, Lagos sentenced Onyeali-Ikpe on Monday for disobeying a court order. According to FIJ, the court, presided over by Magistrate Lateef Owolabi, extended the same sentence to Ezinwa Unuigboje, the bank’s secretary, after finding both guilty of disobeying a garnishee order of court restraining the bank from allowing a judgment debtor access to his account. Advertisement Owolabi had on December 6, 2022, issued the garnishee order for 17 banks to not grant Enabulele Ozaze, a judgement debtor, access to his bank accounts until he paid a judgement debt of N2.8 million. BREAKING: Gunmen Kill Two Soldiers, Three Policemen In Enugu-Ebonyi Border Two soldiers and three policemen have been killed by gunmen on Saturday night at the Enugu-Ebonyi border. Dailypost gathered that the gunmen, who operated in a Toyota Sienna, first killed the two soldiers at a checkpoint in Enugu before proceeding to the Enugu-Ebonyi border.
