The body of the late veteran actor, Justus Esiri, was buried today in his hometown, Abraka, Delta State. The late theatre icon began his final journey home with a Tribute Night organised by the Actors’ Guild of Nigerian in Lagos. It was followed by a service of songs and general mass on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively at St. Jude Catholic Church, Mafoluku, Lagos, before his body was taken to Delta State for burial. Friday morning, a commendation mass/lying-in-state was held at the Polo Turf in Abraka, before the body of Esiri was moved to his residence in Abraka for interment and entertainment of guests. Chief Esiri popularly known as the Village Headmaster, died on 19 February following complications from diabetes. First Deputy Governor of Anambra State and National Vice President of ACN (South East), Dr. Chudi Nwike, who was kidnapped on March 19, has been killed by his kidnappers. We are getting report of the sudden passage of legendary man of God pastor obadare of the Christ Apostolic Church A renowned evangelist and founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Mission (WOSEM), Prophet Timothy Obadare, is dead. Mr. Obadare, a blind Akure- based evangelist noted for the monthly Koseunti Crusade, died on Thursday at the age of 85 at an undisclosed private hospital in Akure, the Ondo State capital. The prophet was said to have battled an undisclosed ailment in the last few months. He was a renowned evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) before the ministry fell apart over certain issues within the church. The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ondo State branch, Joshua Ketiku, confirmed his death.
