LATE ESIRI TÖ BE BURIED ON APRIL
The remains of Nigeria’s veteran actor, Justus Esiri, who died on 19 February following complications from diabetes, will be buried in his home town, Oriaka Abraka, Delta State, in April. Speaking on phone yesterday afternoon, a member of the deceased family, George Esiri, said the burial arrangement of the late thespian would have held in March, but was shifted to third week of April due to the Lent period currently being observed by Christians all over the world. Christian wake-keep of the actor, who acquired national reputation when he acted in the long running series, Village Headmaster, will hold in Lagos, lying-in-state in Warri and burial in Abraka.
